Every day, 2-1-1 San Diego connects callers to organizations like yours, representing over 6,000 services available in our community.  2-1-1 maintains our community’s most comprehensive database of services ranging from food and housing to physical and mental health referrals.

How do I know if my agency is listed in the 2-1-1 database?
To find out, please search by agency name and/or keyword in our Directory of Services.


If my agency is already listed, how do I update its program and service listings that are already in the database?
Our partner agencies can now get free access to make edits and updates to their own listing. Please click here to login or to register for a free login to be able to update your agency’s profile.


If my agency is already listed, how do I add a new program or service to the database?
You can add a new program or service by completing a Program/Service Application.
 

How do I update a Program/Service that is already listed in the 2-1-1 San Diego database?
You can update a program/service by logging into the database. To login, click here. If you do not yet have a login, and would like to establish administrative access for your agency, please contact us at resourcecenter@211sandiego.org or call (858) 300-1200.

What are the benefits to listing my agency in the 2-1-1 San Diego database?

  • 2-1-1 can pre-screen clients and refer only those who meet eligibility guidelines set by agencies listed in the database. This ensures that agencies have the opportunity to use their resources efficiently.
  • 2-1-1 can promote programs to "target audiences" in an effort to increase outreach and program participation.
  • 2-1-1 can grant your agency access to the 2-1-1 Agency Phone Line which gives priority access agencies calling 2-1-1 on behalf of their own clients.


How do I add my agency to the 2-1-1 San Diego Database?

  1. Read the Inclusion/Exclusion Policy
  2. Complete the Agency Inclusion Application
  3. Then, complete a Program/Service Site Application for each location at which your program/service is offered.
  4. Send one of the following documents as required by regulating agencies to 2-1-1 San Diego via email, fax (858-380-5764) or U.S. mail (Resource Center, P.O. Box 420039, San Diego, CA 92142)
    • Legal Tax Classification
    • 501 (c)(3) status
    • Proof of license

 

Note: 2-1-1 San Diego adheres to the Alliance for Information and Referral Services (AIRS) Standards for Information and Referral Organizations. In order to structure information that is consistent, accessible and user friendly we apply standard data collection methods that seek the same type of information from every agency.
