What is POET?

The purpose of the Partner Outreach, Education and Training (POET) seminars is to strengthen the connection with key stakeholders, partner agencies and the community at large.

The meetings will bring partners together to:

  • Update them on 211’s work in the community,
  • Learn and increase the use of the 211 database to better serve our collective clients,
  • Encourage partners to review and update their information in the 211 database, and
  • Promote networking and feedback for community betterment.

What do you learn in a POET seminar?

  • How 2-1-1 San Diego operates
  • Learn about current and upcoming specialty programs
  • How to search for services in the 2-1-1 San Diego resource database
  • How we can work together to identify unmet needs in the community
  • Search engine optimization for your agency resources
  • How to brand your listings in the 2-1-1 San Diego database
